Camp Director Tom Ackerman
Year Started at Greenville: 1997
Education: B.S. degree in Recreational Leadership.
Experience: Coach Ackerman is entering his 14th year at Greenville College. 2010 will be his 9th year as head coach. Coach Ackerman was voted Coach of the Year in both 2002 and 2008 and has set a new standard of excellence at Greenville College. Ackerman has taken his team to the conference tournament the last 4 years and expects to do so again in 2010. The 2009 team was the first to reach the conference championship and was 2 points away from going to the NCAA tournament. This past season Coach Ackerman’s team won the most games in school history since joining the NCAA and he coached the school’s first ever SLIAC Player of the Year.
Coaching at every level from elementary to college, as well as both girls and boys, has given him valuable experience. As club director of Gravity Volleyball Club, Ackerman continues to educate players, coaches, and parents about the sport of volleyball.

Jill Colclasure

Education: B.S. degree in Physical Education
Experience: After an excellent high school career, Jill received a scholarship to Incarnate Word where she played one season. Jill finished her remaining 3 years at Greenville College where she served as team captain and helped lead her team to two conference tournament appearances. Originally from Chicago, Jill’s coaching resume includes coaching for Team Fierce and Gravity, conducting her own summer camps, and offering private lessons. 2010 will be Jill’s 3rd year as assistant coach at Greenville College.
